Potential Pyle Addition

It is possible that within the foreseeable future, Pyle Middle School will receive an addition. On March 21st, 2016, Delmar Architects, P.A., presented the three possible additions to our school.

Option 1:

Option 5:

Similarities:

• All 3 plans call for an enlarged Dining Room

• All 3 plans call for another Teacher Parking lot

• All 3 would affect the Upper Field, while leaving the Lower Field intact

• All 3 plans would add a 2nd Gym, 4 Auxiliary Gyms, new Locker Rooms, 10 classrooms, and a new instrumental music room

Differences

• Options 4&5 are 4 stories (Lower, Main, Upper, and Third) , but Option 1 is 2 stories

• Option 1 would completely destroy the Upper Field, but Option 4&5 would only partially consume it.

• Option 5 would use more of the Upper Field, than Option 4`
